1,2-Bis(trimethoxysilyl)ethane, ChangFu® BET32 is a hybrid compound that is formed by organic and inorganic moieties interacting with each other. It is an important dipodal silane with six alkoxy groups. When used in combination with silane coupling agents, it can greatly enhance the adhesion. Compared to 1,2-Bis(triethoxysilyl)ethane, ChangFu® BET32 is more reactive and less eco-friendly with methanol as the reaction byproduct.
